Position Summary

Perform onsite Material care, custody and control functions in support of construction field activities. Carry out day to day activities of the warehouse department, which can include shipping and receiving or products and materials, issuing tools, documentation and inventory control

Primary Responsibilities and Duties

• Accurately receive parts and put away upon arrival. Stage requested parts in the proper location.

  • Manage paperwork for receipts of parts, issuing of parts and return of parts to ensure inventory stays correct.

  • Pay attention to details and communicate when discrepancies arrive.

  • Clean and organize warehouse area along with, cycle counting and inventory warehouse items.

  • Aid warehouse whenever needed along with, being flexible to fill in for other shifts. Also, help maintenance when needed.

  • Follow safety rules and guidelines.

  • Complete learning on SAP, Forklift, Skid steer and rigging training.

  • Aisles, floors and walkways are kept free of any items. Floors will be, swept and trash disposed of in the proper receptacle. Wipe down shelving and general cleaning of warehouse.

  • Follow all safety rules and procedures and make sure vendors adhere to our safety standard. Safety start cards and workplans will be, completed daily.

Qualifications

• May require a high school diploma or its equivalent with previous years of experience in the field or in a related area.

• Must possess strong working knowledge skills and abilities for position.

• Ability to understand, follow and transmit written and oral instructions and communicate effectively with management/supervision.

• Proficient in the safe and efficient use of electrical, hand tools, power tools and layout tools as well as measurement tools

Requirements

• Able to meet all physical requirements.

• Forklift experience, warehouse/inventory experience, and customer service experience preferred

• Expected to climb and work at heights and in confined spaces (may exceed 200 ft)

• Able to work outdoors in all weather conditions

• Able to work overtime, nights, and weekends as required by the workload

• Observe and comply with all safety and project rules. Performs other duties as required.
