Position Overview

Kiewit's Underground district are seeking a Administrative coordinator. You will be responsible for supporting this construction district with administrative tasks in relation to past project performance.

District Overview

Recognized as a leader in the tunneling industry, Kiewit’s Underground District specializes in tunneling services including hard TBM, soft TBM, sequential excavation, drill and blast, shaft excavation, concrete, tunnel rehab and trenchless methods across all of Kiewit’s markets. Our operations span the United States on transportation, water/wastewater, environmental facilities, power, mining and telecommunications projects.

Location

This position is to be remote, from home. Part time and temporary.

Responsibilities

• Compile summary level project reports for management

• Establishes priorities and allocates time to maximize benefits; manages time and competing priorities

• Data Entry of key performance metrics

• Utilize the quality assurance manual

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of standard engineering practices, construction drawings, reports and specifications

• Working knowledge of engineering and accounting tools, with an emphasis in programs such as Excel, Word and ProjectWise

• Experience interfacing with corporate accounting systems

• Aptitude to learn and use Kiewit’s various project and financial management tools

• Highly collaborative, and strong written and verbal communications skills

• Demonstrated work ethic with ability and desire to work in a team-oriented organization

• High degree of confidentiality and integrity with sensitive information

• Ability to meet or exceed stringent deadlines

Other Requirements:

• Regular, reliable attendance

• Work productively and meet deadlines timely

• Communicate and interact effectively and professionally with supervisors, employees, and others individually or in a team environment

• Perform work safely and effectively. Understand and follow oral and written instructions, including warning signs, equipment use, and other policies.

• Work during normal operating hours to organize and complete work within given deadlines. Work overtime and weekends as required.

Base Compensation: $20 p/h - $23 p/h

(Actual compensation is subject to variation due to such factors as education, experience, skillset, and/or location)
